The Poornaprajna Education Centre is run under the aegis of the Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council. The Founder President , His Holiness Shree Shree Shree Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji, Pontiff of the Admar Mutt was & is ever a source of inspiration and guidance. Now the institution is ably guided by His Holiness Shree Shree Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji, the President of Udupi Shree Adamaru Matha Education Council. The school is located in a beautiful locality with a large playground. It is a co- educational English Medium Institution. It has the necessary instructional Laboratories, Modern well – equipped Library, Read in Room, Computer Centre, Self Study Centre and Vocational Training facilities.

The objective of the centre is mainly to help the pupils grow freely in clean and healthy surroundings, developing their inherent faculties and instilling in them a sense of righteousness, discipline and duty to society and to the Motherland, thus preparing them for good future citizenship.

To maintain high standards of physical health, coaching yoga practice and in games like Table Tennis, Throw Ball, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Badminton and Foot ball are being given by experts. Physical Education classes including Mass P.T. are being conducted as part of the regular curriculum.

The centre participates Science Exhibitions, Seminars Art and Painting Competitions, Debates, Sports and Athletics conducted by department of Public Instructions and private bodies. It runs classes from Nursery to Standard VII in its Pre – Primary and Primary section and up to standard X in the High school section. The Curricula of the Department of Education of the Government of Karnataka are followed. The centre prepares students for the SSLC Examination .

The Medium of the instruction in the centre in English. The course of instruction includes English, Kannada, Hindi & Sanskrit Languages. Mathematics, General Science & Social Studies as subjects. Work Experience is being provided for students from V to X standards in Sewing, Knitting, Embroidery, Cooking and Handicrafts. Music & Electronics are being taught by qualified Teachers. Teaching of Computer Science is arranged in the Computer Centre for all students.

Science classes are held in the laboratory regularly for primary students. Two hours practical classes per week is must for high school students.

The Audio Visual section is equipped with colour LCD TVs' and DVD reinforce what is taught in the class.

While the Pre – Primary section has only one session, the other sections work in two sessions. Pre – primary / Kinder-garten section follows play way.

Extra –curricular activities like Painting, Karate & Hindi Classes are held after 3.00 p.m.

School Library with more 12,000 rare books provides supplementary reading for students of Pre – Primary, Primary and High school.

Library facilities are available even during the vacation for students and staff members.

A distinguished personality in government service, public life, social service and a role model to younger generation to serve the people till the end of one's life. Dr. P.J.Bagilthaya, worked hand in hand with H.H. Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji to build this institution of excellence under the aegis of Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council from 1983 to 2008.
